Compared to last week slaughter steers were 2.00 to 6.00 higher with slaughter heifers 1.00 to 3.00 higher and a good offering of high quality steers and heifers with better packer interest and active bidding. No Holstein slaughter steers this week. Cows were 2.00 to 3.00 higher with a lower offering and Holstein cows 3.00 lower and bulls 2.00 to 4.00 lower but good prices on high dressing bulls. Feeder steers were steady to lower and feeder heifers mostly steady with feeder bulls trending higher and some good groups of fancy type feeders.
