Compared to the last auction two weeks ago, the best test was on a pot load of heifers weighing 682 lbs and a pot load weighing 719 lbs trading mostly 25.00-32.00 lower than similar weights and quality from the last sale with all other weights lightly tested but trading with a lower undertone. Market has headed sharply lower over the last several weeks as fed cattle trade has lost ground over the last month retreating near 35.00 per/cwt, cattle futures continue to find few friends and corn prices have risen all putting pressure on the feeder cattle market. Slaughter cows were lightly tested but also sold with a lower undertone.
