Compared to last week, steers calves under 500 lbs were lightly tested, 500-700 lb steers sold 6.00-12.00 lower, with 700-750 lbs trading steady to 3.00 lower and over 750 lbs were not tested. Feeder heifers weighing 450-500 lbs sold with a firm undertone, 500-550 lbs sold steady to 5.00 lower with 550-650 lbs selling with a lower undertone on a few groups and packages, two pot loads of heifers weighing 658 and 691 sold with a steady to firm undertone with a pot load weighing 713 lbs trading 3.00 lower than last week's pot loads of similar weight. Slaughter cows on a light test sold steady. Demand was overall moderate to good on a moderate offering. Several stick out sales included 38 head of 576 lb steers at 348.00; pot load heifers at 658 lbs sold for 282.25, pot load weighing 691 lbs at 270.00 and pot load at 713 lbs sold for 270.25.
