Compared to last week, slaughter bulls were steady to 2.00 higher and slaughter cows were steady to 3.00 lower. Demand was good on a moderate supply. The top slaughter bull sold for 222.00/cwt. and the top slaughter cow sold for 161.00/cwt. The replacement side included a closed Red Angus herd sellout. The top pairs were a 3-n-1 package of 11 pairs weighing 1286 lbs. with 300+ lb. steer calves on their side which sold for 6350.00/pair. The top bred cows, from the same herd, was a package of three cows in the 2nd/3rd stage weighing 1300 lbs. which sold for 4850.00/head.
