Compared to the last sale two weeks ago, steers and heifers traded unevenly steady, mostly 3.00 lower to 3.00 higher, except a solid test of heifers weighing over 600 lbs that sold 10.00 to 13.00 lower. Slaughter cows 1.00 to 4.00 lower. Pretty solid trade day here at the local barn given the recent volatility in the beef sector. Cattle futures have managed to string a couple solid days together to start the week. Supply and demand moderate.
