You can create a new product by performing a long press on the 'Products' button on the dashboard.
Once you have the new Product screen open, then you need to select the product type to create:


Use as a catch all, for products that don't fall into the fixed product types below.

Pricing
The 'Price' field sets the default revenue price when used in a transaction.
The 'Cost' field sets the default expense price when used in a transaction.
The 'Revenue Account' and 'Expense Account' sets the default product category for accounting.

Inventory
The 'Inventory' field sets the stock on hand value.
Nb. Products with inventory locations require setting the stock on hand at the location level.
