We're thrilled to announce some significant enhancements and exciting new features rolled out in our latest
update. The team has been hard at work, and we can't wait for you to explore what's new.
Here's a brief overview of the key updates:
Revamped User Interface:
We've given our UI a fresh look! Enjoy a more intuitive and streamlined experience as you navigate through the application.
Icons, buttons, and layouts have been optimized for efficiency and aesthetics.
Enhanced Security Measures:
Your data security is our top priority, and that means passwords had to go!
We know the switch to using login codes adds friction to the login process, so to minimize the imact of additional security
measures we have introduced biometric authentication (FaceID, TouchID, Fingerprint, Pin Code) which allows you to use your device
authentication to access the app.
New Collaboration Tools:
Personally, I've never loved the way we built the task system. It was always out of place and could be difficult to digest the
information at a glance.
We've put a lot of thought into how we can improve this and have come up with a new system that we think you'll love.
Instead of showing a list, we've decided to build an integrated calendar which allows all hands to see what's happening on the farm.
Tasks, Births, Vaccine Schedules, Photos, AI Programs, and Sell Tasks are all shown on the calendar, with more to come.
By default, the calendar calendar launches a daily schedule, and then you can open up to a monthly view to see what's happening
over a longer timespan.
Improved Global Search:
Using the global search on the dashboard, you can now search for cohorts. This is a great way to quickly find a group of animals without having to set the filters manually.
You can use terms like 'COW HERD' or '2019 CALVES' to quickly find the group you're looking for.
In addition to this, we've also added the ability to launch the camera to take a photo of an animal right from the global search.
Photo Gallery:
Speaking of photos...we've added a new photo gallery to the animal profile. This is a great way to see all the photos of an animal in one place.
And, while we were at it, the max photo size has been increased to 25mb and we've added the ability to cache thumbnails for offline viewing.
Futher, you can open each photo in full screen mode which allows you to zoom in and out, download the original, or delete the photo.
Animal Profile:
We've revamped the animal profile. The new design is easier to use and organizes important information into accessible sub-views via the bar of green buttons.
New Events:
Events for muscle scanning and genomic testing have been added to both the animal profile and Yardflow.
While not as fun as some of the other features in this update, these are important for tracking the progress of your breeding program.
That's a wrap!
We hope you enjoy the new features and enhancements. As always, we're here to help if you have any questions or need assistance.
